Red Deer Public Library makes computer workstations available to everyone in all branches.
- Computer workstations provide access to the Internet, word processing capabilities, and printing ($0.25 per page for black and white and $0.50 for colour).
- Members use their library card number and a PIN to log in to the computers.
- A special free library card called an e-card is available for anyone who only wants access to the computer stations (e-card holders are unable to check out items from the library). Out of town visitors can also register for an e-card in order to use the public Internet stations.
- Customers are allowed 2 hours of access per day at the Downtown Branch (1/2 hour per day in the Children's Department) and 2 hours of access per day at the Dawe Branch.
