Are you active on social media? Do you use (and love!) your public library? Do you want to help us extend our reach into the community by spreading the word about library programs, services, initiatives, collections, and all of the other awesome things that we do?!
If you answered “yes” to all of the above, we’d like to invite you to become a Social Media Ambassador for Red Deer Public Library!
What Does a Social Media Ambassador Do?
The first thing you’ll need to do is add/like/follow RDPL on your favourite social media platforms.

When you sign up to be a Social Media Ambassador, you will receive emails from Red Deer Public Library with special updates on all things RDPL (don’t worry, there will only be one or two emails per month, and you can unsubscribe at any time!). We may include certain hashtags to use, specific events we’d like you to help us promote, updates on new programs, collections, or initiatives, and more. Think of this as the “inside scoop” on library happenings, and you get to help us tell the world all about it!
We’d also love it if you would take time to share your library stories on social media! If you attend an awesome program, use a helpful online library resource, or simply take home a giant pile of books -- we want to see it (and we want others to see it too!).
