Young Readers Choice Awards

The YRCA is coordinated by the Pacific Northwest Library Association (PNLA) and is the oldest children's choice award in the U.S. and Canada. Students in Grades 4-12 from Alaska, British Columbia, Alberta, Washington, Montana, and Idaho will determine the winner of this literary award by reading the books and voting for their favourite. Kids need to read or listen to at least two titles in a division to vote in that division. Voting will begin March 2017.

For more information, see frequently asked questions on the PNLA website at or ask at any Branch.
