Celebrate Canada 150 With Free Memberships!

Free Cards

In celebration of Canada’s 150th, Red Deer Public Library is offering free memberships to all City of Red Deer residents till the end of 2017!

To pick up a new card, or renew your membership, just visit one of our branches with identification showing your City of Red Deer address. Your membership will be valid for 1 year.

Membership not yet expiring but want to get in on the deal?  You can always renew early but just keep in mind that the membership will still expire in 1 year.

Did you know?

Memberships for children and teens are already free.  Just bring your parent with you to register, or renew,  and your card will be valid until your 18th birthday!

Although memberships for non-residents will remain at $40 / year, non-residents can get a ME card through their local library to check out items from RDPL for free. Check with your local library for more information about the ME card.
