CIRS Volunteer Center

The purpose of the Volunteer Centre is community betterment through citizen volunteer service.

Services to individuals wishing to volunteer include: providing current information on community volunteer positions, assisting the volunteer to identify areas of skill and interest, helping the individual understand their rights and responsibilities as a volunteer, providing referrals to appropriate and suitable volunteer positions, providing follow-up on the suitability of the referral(s), and promoting educational programs relating to volunteer participation.
