Snell Auditorium

The Snell Auditorium is found on the lower floor of the Downtown Branch. It is a multi-use venue suitable for many different types of programs: recitals and small-ensemble concerts, readings, community meetings, business seminars, movies, theatrical performances, computer training sessions and children's programs. The room can be rented by the community.

Cost

• $150 for a full day (8 hours)

• $75 for a morning, afternoon or evening (4 hours)

Included in the rental fee are the following:

• 140 chairs and 12 3'x6' tables

• Access to wireless internet*

The following are available at an additional cost

• TV/ VCR cart ($25)

• Overhead projector for transparencies ($25)

• Portable P.A. System ($25)

• Piano ($50 per 4 hours)

• Commissionaire for meetings extending past closing time ($30/hour)**

• Coffee and snacks/sandwiches (for pricing, contact Café Noir @ 403-342-9109)

The library will NOT provide the following:

• LCD projector

• Computer equipment

• Sound and lighting systems

• Videoconferencing.

The room is available from 8:00 a.m. in the morning on.

Customers are responsible for set-up and take-down of table and chairs, as well as clean-up of the room. Failure to do so will result in an additional $50 charge and room may not be rented to this group again. See the Snell Auditorium Cleanup Guidelines for more information.
