RDPL Piper Creek Optimist Children's Department

Red Deer Public Library's Children's Department provides programs, services and collections for children and their families in the Piper Creek Optimist Children's Department. The 1,000 square-meter space in the Armoury/Firehall section of the Downtown Branch is made possible by a generous donation from the Piper Creek Optimist Club of Red Deer, and a matching grant from the Provincial Government's CRC (Community Recreation and Culture) Grant program.

The Piper Creek Optimist Club recently made an additional $10,000 donation, providing $20,000 towards the renovation of the Children's Department with matching funding from the Community Facility Enhancement Project.  More information is available here.
