Red Deer Co-op Donates Money for Children's Department

Larry Parks, General Manager of Red Deer Co-op Limited, presents a cheque for $800 to Children's Librarian Donna Alberts.  The money will be used to help renovate the Piper Creek Optimist Children's Department.

The renovation project will begin later in 2003 with the installation of new flooring in the Children's Department and the Snell Auditorium.  In early 2004 the renovation of the Library's Downtown Branch will continue with the facelifts of the Adult portion of the Library.
