Parking at Lion Plaza,  7710 - 50th Avenue

There is free parking in the parking lot at Lion Plaza.

 Parking at the Dawe Branch, 56 Holt Street

Parking at the Dawe Branch is free and easy.  There are plentiful parking spots in front of the Dawe Centre.

The Dawe Branch will re-open in the Spring of 2010.

Parking at the Downtown Branch of Red Deer Public Library, 4818-49 St.

There are pay lots close by, across 49 Street and 49 Avenue.  There is also two-hour metered parking ($0.75 per hour) on the streets adjacent to the Library: across 49 Street and on both sides of 48 Ave. and Ross Street.  Beware the very efficient Parking Commissionaires!

Parking in the lay-by immediately in front of the Library on 49 Street is for 10 minutes only.  There is also a handicapped space immediately in front of the 49 Street entrance.  This is for vehicles with officially-approved handicapped stickers only, and is strictly enforced by the City's commissionaires.
