Welcome to your personal poetry reading! www.lyrikline.org is the platform on the internet on which poems are available to listen to, and to read both in their original languages and various translations: a concert of verse in the voices and languages of the authors. With Press Display you have access to close to 500 newspapers from around the world, in the language (35) in which they are published. The newspapers are updated on a daily basis.
Computer Database
Use this database to find computer-related product introductions, news and reviews in areas such as hardware, software, electronics, engineering, communications and the application of technology. All the articles are also available in French, Spanish, Japanese, German, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, and Korean.

Qur'ān: online text, commentaries, and translations
Created by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Jordan, this website offers a range of Commentaries in Arabic, as well as detailed lists of variant readings by all of the canonical 'readers'. It includes a search function and a virtual keyboard.
Adab [Ara]
A searchable database with well over 800.000 lines of poetry by pre-Islamic, classical, post-classical and modern authors. There are sound files for selected poems, including readings by Mahmud Darwish himself.A superlative virtual library, containing a good portion of the canon of classical Arabic literature, but probably stronger on the side of belles-lettres than on that of 'Islamic sciences' proper. New users are required to register, but there is no registration fee. The site is entirely in Arabic, but it includes two types of virtual keyboard, which can also be used for searching other Arabic sites.

This widely known, searchable full text database is now freely available on-line! The search interface is simple but efficient, no access restriction! (But frames capable browser needed).
Xin yusi 新語絲 (New Threads) (New Threads Chinese Cultural Society, USA)
A very rich database contains a lot of classical and modern texts (prose and poetry). Although the main audience aimed at is the general public and the texts are not intended for scholarly use, most of them seem to be carefully proofread, including a reference to the edition the text is transcribed from. The New Threads Chinese Cultural Society is a non-profit organization, currently headed by Fang Shi-min 方是民 (aka Fang Zhouzi 方舟子), a biochemist (with a PH.D. from Michigan Univ.) and poet (with publications in China, Taiwan and the US), who has done much of the input and proofreading.Classical Chinese Poetry 古典詩詞 (Ming L. Chinese Classics
Among others, this site contains the complete poems of Li Bai 李白, Li Qingzhao 李清照, Jiang Ye, and Zhang Ji 張繼 (all available either in GB or Big5). Included are also some audio files, English translations, and famous Western poems in Chinese translation (Longfellow, Shelley, Goethe).
