Feed a Reader Feed a reader in your community!
In our continued efforts to support the community which supports us so well, the Downtown and Dawe Branches of Red Deer Public Library will be dedicating the month of February to feeding the readers of Red Deer and area. Purchase or renew a membership between February 1 and February 28 and receive $5.00 off your membership fee when you bring in two non- perishable food items for the Red Deer Food Bank. If you pay the full membership fee, we will donate $5 to the local Food Bank! New Music in New Places Sunday, February 4 1:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Downtown Branch
Join us for this unique musical presentation hosted by RDPL and Red Deer College music instructor Cheryl Cooney. This concert, made possible by the support of the Canadian Music Centre and SOCAN, will host high caliber musicians performing in various parts of the library beginning in the Dickson Tower, with a final performance on Level 2.
Valentines Amnesty Day On February 14, it will do your heart good to return your overdue items.
When you return overdue items on Valentine’s Day your fines will be removed if you bring in donations for the Red Deer Food Bank.
Bring in your overdue items along with non-perishable food donations and for each food item donated, we will remove $2.00 from the amount of fines owing.
This includes fines from items you may have already returned and not yet paid. This DOES NOT include charges for lost or damaged items.
