Magazines & Newspapers
Red Deer Public Library subscribes to a large number of magazines. You are welcome to browse the Main Branch collection on level 2, and in the lounge area at Lion Plaza, where titles are filed in alphabetical order or check in the library catalogue under Periodicals. The current issue of a magazine cannot be borrowed at the Main Branch, but back issues can! Lift the shelf holding the current issue and you'll find the magazines that you can borrow (three week loan period). At our Lion Plaza Branch, current issues can be borrowed.
Canadian Newspapers in print format are found on level 4 in the downtown branch of the library and in the lounge area at Lion Plaza.
