Adult Services
Red Deer Public Library's Adult Services Department is based in the Centennial Library portion of the Downtown Branch of Red Deer Public Library, at 4818-49 Street. It consists of two units:
Information Services, on the Bower Floor (4th Level,) answers reference questions, interprets the Adult Non-Fiction collections, provides Interlibrary Loan service, and co-ordinates Adult programming.
Readers' Services, based on the Dawe Floor (2nd Level,) provides out-reach services, interprets the Fiction and audio-visual collections, and provides services and programs to those with special needs, including persons with disabilities, new Canadians, young adults and seniors. Here is some information on the International Collection: books in many languages. Visit the Classical Connection on Level 2 for CDs, DVDs, magazines and books on classical music.
ArtSparks is a way for persons with developmental disabilities to expand their creativity and their connections with artists and arts organizations in Red Deer.
