This valuable tool is a modified version of the original Excel Spreadsheet available at the Massachusetts Library Association, which was adapted for the web by the State Library and Archives of Florida.

Note: The values calculated for a "Family" and a "Single User" are based upon averages for typical Red Deer Public Library customers in a 365 day period.

Our family would use approximately 14,000.00 worth of services each year. That's why we love our library so much.

I calculated that I would spend around $3000 annually! And I am just a teenager. I am glad I don't have to spend that much just to use the library.

Library wroth

I calculated that Hans and I value our excellent library at about $10,000 annually. Oddly, now that I'm retired, I find I have less time to read so the consumption has gone down maybe a little. Still, I'm grateful to you that I don't actually have to spend $10,000 per year to enjoy the library.
